Tai Chi Sword Man

"Sword training is one of the highest accomplishments in Chinese Martial Arts."

In ancient China, the way of the sword was highly respected.
This is because of the moral and spiritual qualities that are developed during sword training.
Since the sword is mainly a defensive weapon, it requires a strategy of 'calmness in action'.
To achieve this ability, the practitioner needs to cultivate patience, calmness, and bravery.
Often, the sword master would help the student to develop these traits by teaching them Loyalty, Respect, and Righteousness. Students, who took their training seriously, would not only be skilled in the use of the sword, but honoured and respected by their peers and neighbours.
